A Quick Glimpse

I haven't forgotten about you! This blog is not finished! I apologize for the lack of posts the last two weeks, I have been insanely busy with school and travel that I haven't had the time to sit and write. I have had some pretty intensely wonderful moments the last couple weeks that I will be posting about in the next couple days. I am not going to try and rush a post tonight because each deserve thought and reflection.

Another reason that I have not posted is because many times in the last couple weeks when experiencing something I just felt it, I sat in the feeling and I absorbed it in every way possible without even trying to capture a photo, or quickly write as it was happening. For example there was one moment when I was sitting on the back of the motorcycle driving to the home I was staying in Nalerigu, we passed over a hill and there was the most intense sunset I have ever seen. The entire sky was taking part and was lit with color. I sat there and thought how happy I was in that place and I acknowledged every feeling that surfaced knowing a photo wouldn't even do it justice. It's  a hard decision to make when enjoying life, you swear you will remember that exact feeling and the exact thoughts years from then so there is no need to bother with journaling. There is beauty in just enjoying the moment and feeling it deeply then but also a need to journal and reflect so you can relive it over and over as much as possible through words though it takes effort to put it all down on paper. I am looking forward to reflecting and reliving the last couple weeks in the next blog posts, and I hope my words do it all justice, since many of things are indescribable and even words cannot capture the beauty of the moment but I really want you to catch a glimpse.
