Practice What you Teach

Podcast

Hey! I love talking.

This is new and exciting! I'm starting a new journey-the journey of podcasting. I'll be working to provide episodes that go with each blog post!

The fun part of the podcast is that you get additional content that's not in the blog. This podcast is for you, I understand life is often too busy to sit down and read a post. I can't wait to talk and I am even more excited for you to listen!!!

Enjoy!

Podcast Trailer

I Was a Fake Blonde Anyway

I dyed my hair. What a dumb way to open an episode, but this is a big deal! Like anything, I am analyzed my need to dye it and tied it back to my identity! Listen and hear about how I am feeling about the change and how it is deeply rooted (shocker)!

Putting Band-Aids On Wounds

Since returning to the United States I have failed to nurse my wounds of leaving Ghana back to health. This week I touch on how I have been so quick to leave behind what I love and why in order to heal I must return to it.

One Year Ago Today...

One year already!! Wow! Time flies! Spoiler alert-it's been one year since I left for Ghana and it's been a wild ride! I spend the episode chatting about how life has been a wild ride since  October 23rd of last year but now I am so much better for it as I continue down the road of vulnerability and self-awareness. Also, a quick shoutout to listeners-this would be nothing without your support; we are just getting started!!! Y'all ROCK.

Be Loud and Let Others Be Loud

This week I discuss why we cannot remain unchanged, it has hurt people for too long. In this week's episode, I chat a bit about how society silences those being loud and why we can't just be loud when it pleases others. Join me for another week of self-proclaimed humor with a dash of serious reflection.
